WHAT IS ACTION MAXIMS?
A "maxim" is defined as a "general truth, fundamental principle, or rule of conduct" or a "proverbial saying".  The focus of this site is that your rule of conduct, or fundamental principle that you live by, should be always towards taking action.  It is through the taking of action that we prevent problems and injustices, step outside of our comfort zones and grow, discover our power, and even have breakthroughs in relationships and business ventures.  By taking action, we make things happen instead of sitting by passively on the sidelines.  Make things happen right now, take action!

Much has been said and written about the power of positive thinking and goal setting in terms of getting ourselves to take action and achieve our most sought after goals.  And yet, most never get past that first daunting step.  What if we utilized another strategy and instead defined our fears instead of our goals?  Could this be an effective way to overcoming our fears?

It's true that, in order to grow, we must step outside of our comfort zones.  I decided to do just that by traveling overseas to a land where I did not speak the language beyond the usual basic greetings.  In doing so, I learned a few things about language, life, and love.  These are a few of those life lessons.

In a society where "bigger" is better and "more" is considered more in line with achievement, could it be true that when it comes to fitness, that less is actually more?  Is it really wise to put so much wear and tear on the body when, instead, we can use our head and adopt a more intelligent approach towards a more efficient fitness  regimen.

Let's face it, the last several years have been tough for everyone globally.  We've seen wars, economic collapse, people lose their homes and their livelihoods, and families and even countries fall apart.  Despite all the challenges though we have much to be grateful for and, it is in this attitude of gratitude that we find an even greater power to help others in need and pay it forward.
